Crashes if I put cursor in search field, URL field and when I try tabbed browsing

I'm not great at computer speak, so I'll try.
If I place my cursor in the search field or the URL field, I get a "Firefox has
encountered an error and must be shut down..." message.
It also happens when I hit Ctrl T to tab. This just started yesterday
afternoon. I love Firefox, and want to keep it, but those things are driving me
crazy!

close Firefox
start Firefox via Windows Start menu -> Firefox -safemode
and see if it still crashes
If not, it's one of your extensions

I did that, put my cursor in the URL field, and I got the error message again,
and Firefox shut down.

Uninstall Firefox, reinstall, choose "Custom", choose to install the feedback
tool, then when it crashes give us the talkback ID. More info here:
