I went to install an extension (Adblock Plus, but have tried others after this)
and clicked on the install link.  The Software installation dialog popped up and
started to countdown from 6.  I alt-tabbed to a different program I had running
to do something while it counted down.  Upon alt-tabbing back, the focus was no
longer on the Software Installation dialog, and the countdown was at 6 and not
moving.  Upon bringing focus back to the dialog it started to countdown.  So, I
clicked on Firefox.  The countdown reset back to 6.  Any time the dialog looses
focus, it resets to 6.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Click on an install link for an extension
2.  Wait for the Installation Dialog to pop up
3.  Switch focus to another program.

Actual Results:  
The countdown resets to 6 and doesn't countdown

Expected Results:  
it should not reset

I have tried this on both an Ubuntu box and a Fedora box.  I have done it with
the focus style to be sloppy, semi-sloppy, and click to focus.  They all cause
it, though the semi-sloppy and sloppy cause it more because that means the mouse
has to be on top of the dialog for it to countdown.

Confirming. On Windows we just reset the timer when focus is regained, but on
Linux the countdown completely stops.

This is intended behavior from security bug 239411.

Adam - on linux the countdown resets itself / starts ove when the xpinstall
dialog is focused again for me.

Okay. Turns out this isn't really an issue. What happens when you Alt+Tab back
to Firefox is the main browser window gets focus and not the installer window.
Once you click the installer window again and focus it the countdown starts
over. And like Rob said, it's supposed to restart the countdown on refocus.
