When I close firefox the screen goes blank for 2 to 3 seconds. Not just gray but
black as if I have shutdown the computer. I have a 19" flat panel. I'm worried
that this may harm my screen. What's going on? Thanks, Griff.

This is INVALID.

1) It's an ancient version of Firefox.
2) The steps to reproduce are not detailed enough.
3) Most likely an isolated incident.
