When opening the websites at www.timesofindia.com & www.hindustantimes.com
popups appear. The popup blocker is not able to suppress them.

Works for me, too. I'm going to resolve this as WFM. Reporter, there have been a
lot of changes since 1.0.6 in Firefox. If you can reproduce this in the new
Firefox 1.5 Beta please reopen. http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/
