It's had this problem for at least one month, whatever build that was a month ago.

Try if it happens, if you use a new profile, just for test, and don't install themes or extensions there. Tools->Switch Profile->Manage Profile->Create Profile and so on. Of course you must remember your password, as passwordmanager from the new profile doesn't know it.

(In reply to comment #9) > Does this issue still exist after you clear your cache? To reply to comments 8 and 9, I uninstalled and deleted all traces of Seamonkey off my hard drive. I then reinstalled the latest build on my hard drive. The screen shot you see is a result of that reinstallation.

The > screen shot you see is a result of that reinstallation. > Seamonkey is in three folders, if you install from exe: GRE, Profile and program folder. There are also entries in the windows registry. GRE and program directory are deinstalled and deleted automatically, if you didn't add files. If you added files, let's say installed flash, you are told that folders can't be deleted because they are not empty and you are asked if you want to delete them anyway. The profile isn't deleted by deinstallation, it holds passwords, mail, bookmarks and settings to be transferred to the next installation. Ofcourse you can specify other locations than the profile to store bookmarks and mail, but the default location is the profile. Did you delete your profile? I assume you didn't, as it doesn't make sense. There is no need to delete a profile, you always can create another one for testing, and go back to the previous profile when testing is done.

With all due respect, I deleted everything associated with Seamonkey on my hard drive. I then ran my registry tool to make sure that all registry traces were removed. THEN, I reinstalled the latest build of Seamonkey. Yes, I knew about the possibility of building another profile but I had forgotten that at the time.

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050911 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2005091112 This works for me and a million other people. There is something wrong with the profile you're using, be it a bad extension, corrupt cache, etc. Please consult the MozillaZine forums for further support. http://forums.mozillazine.org/
