User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 Ever since Firefox 1.0, Firefox does not display correctly on systems with only 256 colors. Internet Explorer does not have this issue and runs correctly on 256 color systems. This is especially important in Terminal Server environments since many administrators restrict color depth to improve performance. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 on a Terminal Server (2000 or 2003). 2. Connect to the Terminal Server using the RDP client. Set color depth for connection to 256 (8-bit) color. 3. Run Firefox from within the Terminal Server session. Actual Results: Colors look horrible, See attached pictures. Expected Results: The application should display correctly in 256 colors.
