System hang up when I surf a page contains hundreds of pics

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 when I open a web page ,which contains hundreds of pics(I mean 300~400pic),the whole system(win2000 professional)just dies,Nothing can use ,no response at all,Even I press ctrl+alt+del. 1\when the page open,everything is ok. 2\when the pic continues loading,the operation system becomes slower and slower,and the memory just growthing. 3\the firefox begins to hangup. 4\the whole system stop response ,what I can do is to reboot by the reset button. but when I use opera 8,Everything is ok. I searched first,find a lot about the memory leak(maybe). but even the newest version of firefox 1.06,the problem happens everytime when I open a page contains a lot pictures. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open a page contains hundreds pics(some kind of adult pages) 2.waiting all pics loading. 3.system slower down and at last,it's no response. 4.reboot system and found everyting lost:bookmarks,cookies etc. Actual Results: restart the computer by shutdown the electrical power. Expected Results: don't hang up the system please~ when I use opera 8,no such problem happens.

It even hangs and uses extremely much memory if viewing 100 pics...
