308137 - Folder not purged after deleting/detaching attachment

After deleting/detaching an attachment from a message there are two version of
the message in the folder:
1) the original unmodified message
2) the message with the attachment deleted/detached
After "compactifying" the folder, the first one disappears.
If I delete/detach an attachment from message A, don't compactify but
immediately delete/detach an attachment from message B in the same folder, then
A1) disappears, but there are two versions of B now.

It seems that "deleting/detaching" purges the folder, but it does so too early
in the process.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. delete/detach an attachment from a message in an IMAP folder
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
2 copies of the message remain: the original one and one with the attachment
deleted/detached

Expected Results:  
only the copy with the attachment deleted/detached should be left

Using vanilla TB 1.5b1, no themes or extensions, fresh profile; IMAP account

Target Milestone should be 1.5. Bugzilla doesn't let me change "---" into 1.5
even though I'm the submitter of the bug.

This appears to be a duplicate of bug #286655 .
Sorry for submitting a duplicate. I did search bugzilla before submitting it. I
found the dup only later when looking for something else.
