This seems to be a transient problem with the page, maybe and ad?
Using the 13 Sept. nightly, it crashed loading that page 0730 (Central US time).
I had a friend try to load it using v1.06 and it crashed also.

I was trying the site this morning and first it just partially hung and the
second time it crashed. Both instances happened when the status bar on the
bottom said it was transferring data from antipopup.unitedvirtualities.com
More info: I was loading http://www.nbc5i.com/news/4940452/detail.html
and it locked up (not crashed) loading antipopup.unitedvirtualities.com.

See comment #5
Again, a crash when antipopup.unitedvirtualities.com showed up in the status bar whilst loading the following page at 1450 CST:

http://wwwa.accuweather.com/watches-warnings.asp?partner=forecastfox&zipcode=75069&county=TXc085&zone=TXz104&metric=0
It looks like it is a Javascript problem of some sort. On sites causing the crashes, if I uncheck "Enable Javascript" before hand, it loads just fine. If I then check "Enable Javascript" and hit the reload button, Firefox crashes.
if your proxy supports socks, please use try http://www.socks.nec.com/Download/SocksCapDownload/index.asp
