I imagine since the code already exists, that it is not too big of a stretch to
add this functionality for 1.5. This is a great helper for new users.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox.
2. Look for "Tip of the Day".
3. 

Actual Results:  
Don't find "Tip of the Day".

Expected Results:  
Find "Tip of the Day".

This is an extension which has kind of gone by the wayside, especially for
Firefox. Please bring it back. Thanks.

This is (or was) an extension, and an extension (or broken extension) it shall
remain:

-there are numerous websites which already have plenty of tips
-it's bloat for most users (they either use it rarely or not at all)
-who actually leaves something like this enabled?
  -they get in the way of doing what you wanted to do - surf the net
-name a recent mainstream app of Firefox's popularity that has TotD
