The bbc.co.uk/radio site offers "listen live" and "listen to previous programmes
facilities.  Click on, for example "Listen to Radio 1", and the radio console
pops up.  In IE, under the "BBC RADIO PLAYER" logo at the top left of the
console, there are "pause", "forward 5 mins", "forward 15 mins" and "volume"
controls.  On IE, these work.  On Netscape, the buttons don't appear.  On
Firefox, the buttons are there, but they don't work.  

Similarly, if you go to www.xfm.co.uk (which plays very good music), and click
on "Listen now" at the top left of the screen, an audio console pops up.  On IE,
 the console has a volume control, and options to listen at low bitrate, high
bitrate, or super-high.  There is also information on buffering, playing time,
etc.  None of this appears on Firefox.  

On both the BBC and XFM, the audio does run - it's just that you can't control it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.bbc.co.uk/radio
2. Click on "Listen to Radio 1".  Wait till the music starts
3. Try clicking on the pause, forward, or volume buttons on the console.

OR

1.  Go to www.xfm.co.uk
2.  Click on "listen now" at the top left of the page.
3.  Take a look at the console, through Firefox and IE.  You'll see that the
controls are missing in Firefox.

Actual Results:  
Volume, pause and forward buttons don't work (bbc).  Volume and bitrate buttons
aren't there (xfm).  

Expected Results:  
The buttons should work.

I can confirm the bug in the BBC Radio Player. I have not tested it in the Xfm player. I have found the BBC Radio Player bug on Win2000/ WinXP/ UbuntuLinux Hoary.
