User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 It's nice that Firefox finally supports tab reordering. Now consider going a step further and allowing tabs to be dragged not just within a single tab bar, but even between Firefox windows. If the tab being dragged happens to be the only one in its window, that window should disappear. And of course, the Right Way to handle this is to avoid reloading or even rerendering the contents if at all possible; it should act the same in this regard as a tab being reordered on the local tab bar. Such a feature would be nice if there happens to be a separate window open whose tab(s) one wants to merge with those of another. (I much prefer one window with several tabs than more than one window.) This happens e.g. when clicking Get More Themes/Extensions; it should be configurable to open in a new tab (but that's a separate bug report). Clearly, this is not a critical feature, but it would make a nice complement to the one proposed in bug 225680. Reproducible: Always

Beyond just similar - this would be a duplicate of bug 293029 if we needed separate bugs, but since the bulk of the work would happen in core, not in the forked tabbrowser.xmls, one bug's enough. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 113934 ***
