308367 - Resume downloading thunderbird stays in the menu after update is downloaded

After using the automatic update system from the Help menu, click "Download and
install". When it's done, click "Later". In the Help menu it will still say
"Resume downloading Thunderbird 1.4", which does bring up the update dialog, but
doesn't do anything. 

Restarting thunderbird applies the update as it should, no problem there. I do
not see this problem in firefox, where it changes to "Apply updates now" (or
something similar) after download is complete. Thunderbird should do this also.

In the JavaScript console I get an excption when clicking the "Check for
updates" menu item (but only the first time?), don't know if its related.

bumping severity and nominating as a blocker.  Despite the seemingly low-impact,
this is in a majorly visible place and provides a bad user experience.

Attachment: the fix

Changes were made to Firefox that I didn't notice. Make the same changes to
Thunderbird when we build the help menu.
