i was downloading files on 1.0.6 when i started installing beta1. in the
installer, i was asked for quitting 1.0.6, so i did. after installion, i went
back to the download manager and my downloads where "crashed"(?). only
cancel/pause options where avaiable. i tried pause and didnt do nothing. i did
cancel and the download item was cleaned and disapear :(

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start a big download with 1.0.6
2. with 1.0.6 open, install beta1
3. let the installer quit 1.0.6 and install beta1
4. after installation go back to download manager and see what happens, if
download is possible again or not and if items disapear after canceling it

Actual Results:  
download items disapeared. usualy they stay there... they only disapear if users
click "clean" button on bottom

Expected Results:  
after installing beta1, we should be able to go back to download manager and
resume previous downloads
