RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 320178

Details

It seems that although it's possible to create a recurring event using the new
event dialog, subsequent attempts to view that event don't allow the recurrence
properties to be edited.
Unfortunately, I do not have cycles to work on Calendar stuff these days (just as it's getting to the good part!), so I am a bad owner for these bugs. To delete the tragically-large chunk of bugspam, search for gregorianabdication.

WFM. You're probably editing the occurrence and not the parent.

I think bug 320178 could solve this problem.

Exactly. And until this is not fixed you can just press Ctrl while double-clicking on any event of the series to edit its parent. This allows for changing the recurrence rule.

I suggest to close this bug as a duplicate.

re comment #5, this Ctrl trick doesn't seem to work for me, Linux/x86, today's build. Is there another easy way to get to the parent, other than using the finder?
