"Click here to remove the red rectangle from the pattern"
does not take effect until you save and reload.

"Click here to turn the green rectangle yellow"
does not take effect until you resize the window, or save and reload.

You can save and reload using the "serialize as xml" bookmarklet from
http://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/webdevel.html.

I see this bug on Windows too.  Martijn, I think the build you're using doesn't
have <svg:pattern> support.

Oops! You're right. Seeing the bug also on windows with a 2005-09-14 trunk build.

In the testcase I still see no changes after clicking the "remove red rect" and "turn green yellow" until resize.
