I thought that I saw a bug about this already, perhaps filed by don, but I just 
spent 20 minutes searching and I can't find it.

This one's pretty easy to accomplish, although I'm not up on my XUL so I don't 
know if it's the proper way to do it.  Insert these lines (sorry, no CVS at work 
or else I'd attach a patch) into navigator.xul before line 359 ("<!-- this is 
the urlbar -->")

    <!-- spacer between page proxy icon and start of url text -->
    <spring style="width: 4px;" />
confirming and changing component to XP Widgets.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
