308631 - Remove update functionality from our build, since we don't use it at the moment

Bug 308580 introduced the possibility to disable the update functionality in
toolkit apps. Since we don't use this functionality at the moment and don't have
any UI for it, I would propose to disable this in configure.in until we decide
to use this.

Bug 308580 also allows us to directly enable/disable certain Necko protocols in
configure.in and not go the side-route of doing that in our default .mozconfig.

Any thoughts?

And BTW we really need a 'build config' component for this kind of stuff.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just start using the update functionality rather
than removing it?
