I have a pgpdisk based disk since 05 mar (PGP Freeware 602i).
Before this time I use pop3, after I use IMAP, and a pgp based disk to store my
profile, and private things like mails, addr. books.

I have a problem that very strange.
When I start the day, I see, that many mails placed in my postbox.
It is interesting, because every day I create the filters for some mails, and
start the filter: it is working.
And then, in another day the filter vanished !

Possible that is pgp error, or you know about same thunderbird bug ?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a filter
2. Use it
3. Another day the filter is not existing !

Actual Results:
Next day the filter is not existing !
So: I try it and see the result.
I open the Thdb, see that many mails are in the mailbox.
Create 2 filter rules, and run them.
When I close Thdb, the Filterrules file not containing this 2 filters !
Why ? What I do wrong ?
Some filters are remaining, and some not. How to I fix them ?
what version of thunderbird are you using? If you define a few filters, and then
bring up the edit filters dialog, and close it, do the filters show up the next
time you start thunderbird?

Version 1.0.2 (20050317), Hun
I think I find the way to reproduce the bug:
So:
1. I open the Thdb.
2. I open the mailbox.
3. Incoming messages.
4. Double click in a message.
5. I move the mouse to the email address (mailman mails, so I move to reply address)
6. Local menu (Rclick): create filter from/by this message.
7. Change the Field from "From" to "To or Get the copy of the mail". It is 9.
item of the combobox.
8. The operation is move (default), but the destination is an exisiting
subfolder of the incoming box.
9. Ok, I save the filter rule.
10. I select Tools/Run Filters on the folder.
11. The filter is affected in mails, that is moving them.
12. I close the Thdb.
13. When I see the rules file, but new filter vanished (not saved) ?
14. When I start Thdb, then I not found the filter...

I try to reproduce again...

Possible this effect is caused by pgpdisk.
Next (after this tired) day I will trying with movie my profile to fix HDD, and
the try again. If problem is not appear, that is pgp error.
If yes, that is thdb error.

So wait for me, I try it if possible...

Now I try it. I move my profile out of the pgpdisk, to a hdd.
But the problem is still alive...
So it is thdb problem, I think.
please update to a newer version - this is a known problem and has been fixed in
tbird 1.5beta1. Or wait until tbird 1.5 ships.

In 1.5b1, we bring up the filter dialog after you create a filter from a
message, and closing the filter dialog saves the new filter.
