Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6

The system tray icon that notifies when I have new mail stays around even after
all mail is read. This only happens when all the mail received is automatically
filtered to a local folder. If I then read it all in the new location, the icon
stays in the tray even though there are no new messages anymore

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set up a filter to tranfer mail to a local folder
2. receive new mail that all gets filtered to the local folder
3. read the email in its new location

Actual Results:
tray icon will still be there until you check the account to which the email was
originally delivered

Expected Results:
Icon should have disappeared, either when the mail was all forwarded or when the
mail was read.

This is with an IMAP mail server. I have not tested this with a POP server.

The easy workaround, though it is annoying, is to just check the account that
the mail was originally sent too.
