User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 The following <td> tag, when being on the FIRST row of a multi-row, multi-page, table, causes the background color to be used for the WHOLE PAGE, if Print Backgrounds in print setup in enabled: <td style="background-color: rgb(255, 204, 0);">data</td> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load the page http://www.rnstech.com/bad_print.html 2. Perform Print Preview Actual Results: Some of the pages will be colored in the Print Preview window as well as when printed. On my machine, its pages 2, 4, and 11, but I've seen different results on different machines, depending on how firefox is set up. Expected Results: All pages should behave the same. In this case, all of them should be white backgrounds (or whatever the user has set up in their personal css) with colored data fields along the right side. If you look at the broken page, you'll understand. I consider this a Major bug, as a result of not being able to use Firefox to print reports from our database. My client is using Opera for the time being, but they (and I) really want to use Firefox.
This is the same file as http://www.rnstech.com/bad_print.html
I just recreated it on Fedora Core 4/SMP with Firefox 1.0.6.
Reproducible with Mozilla 1.8b1 but WFM with SeaMonkey/20050915, fixed by bug 294836?
