User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 The active page doesn't get the focus when you alt-tab to another program and then alt-tab back to firefox. This is horrible. People expect to scroll through a document with pageup/pagedown, alt-tab to another application (e.g. text editor) and then alt-tab back to firefox and still be able to scroll the document they were reading (with pageup/pagedown). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open 2 online html pages which are > 1 page long (a vert scrollbar exists) 2. alt-tab to another app 3. alt-tab to firefox and then try pagedown. the document does not scroll until you click on it to give it focus! Actual Results: nothing Expected Results: page scrolls down
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2005091504 WFM, also on 1.0.6. Any specific page?
Looks like not a firefox bug but maybe a bug with the _included_ adobe acrobat reader plugin. It seems to only happen when a pdf is open in one of the tabs. After closing acrobat reader (which gives a warning about pdfs being open in a browser), these focus problems disappear. Adobe Reader 6.0.2 Firefox 1.5b1
-> works for me , since this turn out as adobe acrobat plugin problem (see comment #2)
