Select a URL and use CTRL C to copy. 2. Using CTRL V paste the URL in the address bar. 3. Click on pasted URL and attempt to edit address (change page, add a specific port, etc...) 4. Can't edit the urls in the address bar. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select a URL and use CTRL C to copy. 2. Using CTRL V paste the URL in the address bar. 3. Click on pasted URL and attempt to edit address (change page, add a specific port, etc...) 4. Can't edit the urls in the address bar. Actual Results: I couldn't edit the address, in my specific use case I was attempting to edit the url with a specific port I want to go in on. Expected Results: Previous versions of FF have allowed this funtionality. I have read through the documentation (no not all of it :-) ) and couldn't find any info on changes to the functionality.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2005091504 WFM in branch and trunk. I see the blinking cursor after the last letter and I can type rightaway whatever I want.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
