If wheel scroll is executed on the bugzilla search page when Advanced search of bugzilla is displayed and windows such as download manager, Preferences, etc. are close, the beach ball is generated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open URL(bugzilla Advanced Search). 2. Open Download Manager or Preferences. 3. The window that opened with step2 is close. 4. Wheel scroll is executed. Actual Results: The beach ball is generated. Expected Results: The beach ball is not generated. Mac OS X 10.3.9 branch build 2005091409 (v1.0a1) trunk build 20050915
Does it actually hang (require a force quit) or just beachball for a while and then go back to normal?
Summary: After close the window, it is a wheel scroll of bugzilla and a beach ball. → After close the window, it is a wheel scroll of bugzilla and a beach ball.
The beach ball is generated for about ten seconds. Afterwards, it is possible to scroll normally.

does this always happen or only after camino has been running for a while? this smells a lot like the other "peg the cpu for N seconds swapping" bugs we're seeing. i think we've got a leak somewhere.

How are you closing the Download/Preferences window -- Command-W, or clicking the close box? Can you do a 'sample Camino 10' in the Terminal right when you see the hang, and attach the resulting file here.
(In reply to comment #3) > does this always happen or only after camino has been running for a while? It is always generated. It is generated immediately after start of Camino. (In reply to comment #4) > How are you closing the Download/Preferences window -- Command-W, or clicking > the close box? Close of the window clicks the close box. The shortcut key(command+w) is not used. 'Sample Camino 10' will be tried later.
Following build was tried with new profile. trunk build 2005092008 (v1.0+)

The sample just shows lots of painting. I wonder if this is related to bug 297343?
This problem did fix with the patch of bug 297343. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=195837
