Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050916 Firefox/1.4

When I went to download Web developer, I got the "Firefox prevented this site
from installing software". I clicked on the "Edit Options" and added
chrispederick.com to the list of allowed sites. Then clicking on the .xpi,
nothing happens. I have to restart firefox to install the extension. I also
tested this at extensionsmirror.nl with one of the extensions there.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a website that is unallowed to install extensions
2. Click on the .xpi link to install extension
3. Change the options to allow the site to install
4. Click on the .xpi link again
5. Nothing happens

Actual Results:
The extension dialog doesn't appear

Expected Results:
The extension dialog should appear
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050917
Firefox/1.4 ID:2005091707

web developer ext site

Not sure what is going on with your system. Do you get any relevant messages in
the JS Console? Does the same thing happen with a new profile?
Ok, I have tried this on a brand new profile and the bug didn't occur. But my
other profile is practically brand new. It only has 2 extensions (Adblock and
Adblock Updater). I have uninstalled both of these extensions to see if they
were causing the problem. No go, the profile still causes the bug. I don't get
an javascript errors.

I don't remember making any changes to the profile except for installing Adblock
and Adblock Updater, but I might have done something that caused this. But it
looks like this is a problem with my profile and not with Firefox.

I guess the bug should be marked either INVALID or WORKSFORME.
