Creating the error phase by phase:

1) Open Firefox
2) Starting page loads ok, bookmarks list works ok.
3) Open a new tab (any site or no site at all)
4) Now when I open bookmarks list and move mouse cursor over, bookmark entries
do not get coloured properly (selected item should get a color, right?) and/or
they blink.

I'm using 1.5 Beta, so I felt it would be good to inform.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open Firefox
2) Starting page loads ok, bookmarks list works ok.
3) Open a new tab (any site or no site at all)
4) Now when I open bookmarks list and move mouse cursor over, bookmark entries
do not get coloured properly (selected item should get a color, right?) and/or
they blink.
Actual Results:  
When I open bookmarks list and move mouse cursor over, bookmark entries do not
get coloured properly (selected item should get a color, right?) and/or they blink.

Expected Results:  
Normally selected item(s) should be coloured constantly (in my setup, darkblue).
