Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 When the Gmail Delete Button (compiled) extension, http://www.arantius.com/article/arantius/gmail+delete+button/, is loaded, typing an apostrophe launches "find-as-you-type". This behavior didn't occur until after I'd loaded this extension, stop occuring when I uninstalled it, and came back when I added it back. Rather reliable or easy to duplicate in this case. I've reported it to the author and got the response "...the apostrophe is the firefox key for find-as-you-type-in-links, if something isn't working right I can barely see how any of my code is doing it, it's likely a bug in Firefox." I do NOT have the extension and the greasemonkey script version installed at the same time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Gmail-Delete-Button extension 2. Restart Firefox 3. Type text, especially in a text box, and include the apostrophe, " ' ", key Actual Results: "Find" menubar at bottom of FF window appears Expected Results: Allow typing to continue in text box

The Extension Manager manages the install, upgrade, update, uninstall, etc. for extensions and it does not manage the way an extension interacts with other code Component -> Find Toolbar / FastFind
Component: Extension/Theme Manager → Find Toolbar / FastFind
