When typing a comment into a text fields (and its's happening as I type this
here, text is not rendered faithfully, often not showing all the characters
typed, nor the results of deletion. Since I'm having the issue on Bugzilla too,
I'm very surprised I didn't find the bug in my search... apologies for any
duplicates...
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find a text field.
2. Type at least a sentence,
3. Look at the result, try to delete, etc.
Actual Results:
**** text on screen
Expected Results:
Typed properly.
It didn't not crash, reloading the page didn't help. Noticed my processor was
somewhat pegged during typing... I suspect it's related...

I visited the buzilla page again in Camino 2005091409 (1.0a1) and reproduced the same results. What
other information would be useful to you here? I could post a screen shot. It looks as if it's having
screen-redraw issues, because if you delete something, the cursor goes backwards, but the text
remains to the right, but gets more distorted. Also when typing, the cursor does not advance far
enough to the left, in front of the lead letter... This happens with the monospace font "Bitstream Vera
Sans Mono 13pt" as my default for monospace.... bingo, I switched the font to "Andale Mono" and it
works swell. I then tested Vera in TextEdit, and had no similar issues, so the font does not appear to be
corrupted.
If the font doesn't sound familiar, it can be downloaded for free at http://www.gnome.org/fonts/
I'm using 10.4.2, build 8C46, all current updates applied. PB 12" 867, 640mb RAM
I'll be happy to send any additional info as needed. Till then, guess I'm not using Vera mono...
It's that "non-Mac fonts" bug.
