On http://www.berlingske.dk/sudoku/ is a, I believe, director application.
It appears to be loosing either events (mouse clicks) or screen updates.

To the left are 2 arrows that allow changing the level and just below 'nyt spil'
that start a game.

I have seen problems with both the level seletor, clicking left and right (up
and down level) and while playing.

Clicking around in the empty fields, suddenly 2 or more fields are selected, or
a clicked one is not.

Similar behaviour is in Camino 0.8.4.

I haven't seen similar in the firefox 1.5 beta.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to the url
2. select level
3. start new game
4. click around.

Actual Results:
Incorrect display.

Shockwave Flash 8.0 r22
Rather slow machine 550MHz powerbook g4
I couldn't reproduce this (with Shockwave for Director 8.5.1) at first, but then
after leaving the game running for a while and switching tabs and then clicking
on the game again, it reproduced for a while--and then stopped reproducing again.

When I have this bug and the game open in tabs, I'm getting the hand cursor
bleeding through, too, while in this bug (assorted bug numbers, in Camino and in
Core). Might the other issues be related to the various plugins-in-tabs bugs?

Director Player Error

This application requires an Xtra (Vector Shape) that either does not exist or failed to initialize properly. Please make sure the appropriate Xtras are in the Xtras folder(s).

Director Player Error

Error
-2147219501

I was able to play this game before then my firefox crashed, closed and updated... then I tried to go back to the game and that is when this error started.

Steps to recreate

1. go to url http://bigfishgames.com/index.html
2. click on play online
3. click on Mahjong Towers Eternity
4. error happens when game is trying to load
lqnatu@yahoo.com: this is a Camino bug (about an issue very different from yours). You should search and/or file an appropriate bug elsewhere.

Is this still happening in Camino trunk (and if so, it is also happening in Minefield)?

(And with Director 11, now that that's out)
I'm seeing bad painting errors (like we see with Flash, where part goes white and fails to update) with both branch and trunk and the new Shockwave Director 11 :( That makes it kind of hard to tell if the original bug is still there :(

10.5.2, IntelMac.
Both Minefield and Camino (20080404 builds) and the latest Director.

Unless I missed something in comment 0 and comment 1, I couldn't repro those failures to intercept (click) events.
However, in both browsers I saw tons of painting and flickering problems. The game would vanish when clicking on it, or when switching between tabs, then slowly repaint in parts - scrolling the page up or down usually brought it back.

(WebKit had different painting and related problems - starting with displaying the game twice, once as a grey frame, once as the real thing. - makes me wonder how buggy the plugin itself is.)

Closing WFM per comment 7; if anyone still does see this in current trunk builds with Director 11, please re-open.
