309138 - several problems when closing the browser window

When only the mail window is open, there are no menu entries and no scrollbars.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mozilla App with Browser and Mail
2. Close Browser

Actual Results:  
When I click on "File" or "Edit" etc. there is no menu. The message preview 
doesn't have scroll bars. I can't use Mozilla Mail this way.

Expected Results:  
It should stay usable.

I configured Mozilla to start with Browser and Mail.
I usually have the LittleMozilla theme but the problem appears with the Standard 
theme, too.

Have you tried a new profile and/or deleted the XUL.mfl in your profile?

Yes. I have deleted the XUL.mfl and nothing changed. The problem still appears.
Even with a new profile it doesn't work.

Do you have any extensions installed?
Are there errors in the JS Console?
Can you try a more recent build (SeaMonkey or Firefox)?

I updated recently to 1.7.12 and it seems to work now.
