I don't know if there's been any recent discussion on this, but now that the plugin finder stuff is in, there doesn't seem to be much reason to install nullplugin.
Hmph. This may seem like a dumb question, but will the patch work for both installer and non-installer builds? My first attempt was on plugin/Makefile.in, which simply wouldn't build the plugin if $MOZ_BUILD_APP was 'browser', but timeless didn't think that was a real good idea. Whenever I compile Firefox, there's nullplugin and unixprintplugin in $(topsrcdir)/dist/bin/plugins, but only nullplugin is included in the official release. Just a bit confused. :P
Argh, knew there was another one. Not sure what security problems doron thinks there are, but he wrote the thing, so ... :P *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 261751 ***
