User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050910 SeaMonkey/1.0a

On this page on the cmt site you can choose from a list of audio streams. When
I picked this, it first correctly gave me a pop-up box asking for my connection
speed. Then, another pop-up box appeared, but this time blank. When running IE
this second pop-up box shows the name of the tune being played. But with
mozilla there is no sound and no visual. I've had the same problem with Firefox
in the past. It's one of the few things I have to use IE for.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to www.cmt.com
2.click on "music", choose "radio cmt"
3.click on any of the "radio" stations

Actual Results:
no sound, and no visual showing what tune is being played

Expected Results:
It should have played the audio stream and showed a visual in a pop-up box with
the name of the tune (instead of showing a blank box).
The site appears to be very microsoft-centric. It told me that I couldn't play
music because they don't support Mac (I'm running linux).

Do you see any errors in the Javascript Console?

This was not an SeaMonkey Bug, instead it was an Evangelism-Bug from this Site. This Site check the UA-String for Browserversion and will work with Firefox, but not with Gecko. Sure this is an Browser-Discrimination.

You can try to install "Prefbar" or "UA-Switcher" and test this Site again with your UA set to some Version of Firefox on Windows.

Summary: no sound, "radio" does not play music → www.cmt.com "radio" does not play music with SeaMonkey
"The radio player could not load because of the following reason(s):

    * The radio application requires a Windows computer to run."

Confirming. Even spoofing Camino as IE 7 on Windows isn't enough to fool it, although the code looks like it ought to allow Firefox on Windows to work:
