User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4

Full screen is NOT full screen. "Full Screen" means 100% of area is available to the
User. Keyboard shortcuts exist for tab navigation so there should be no problem not
being able to see the tabs. Internet Explorer manages to auto-hide the
navigation bar
and status after about two seconds if the mouse is not sitting on the top-edge
of the
screen thus creating 100% full-screen area.

The navigation bars and tabs in Firefox should be REMOVED from the screen in
Full-screen
mode. Otherwise, it is not full-screen, is it?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press F11

Actual Results:
10-15% of screen real-estate is not usable on 1024x768 screen

Expected Results:
Go Full Screen i.e 100% of screen area.

As I was unable to change the status of bug #261478, which is sitting as
"UNCONFIRMED", I have filed this new bug as it is CONFIRMED.
Confirmed doesn't mean simply that other people see it. It means that it has
been set to NEW by someone with the correct privelleges - which means they've
made several useful cointributions to Bugzilla. As this is a RFE, confimation
is more about whether it is a good idea, rather than whether what you see
exists. And that is really down to the development team.

I'm afraid that this bug is a dupe of bug 261478. Of course, that may now be
looked at!
