User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 When I tried to access www.expedia.com (an in the recent past, several other sites) I get the message that I am on an unsupported browser. It even gives me the Mozilla link to get the newest version, however, I am ON the newest. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 What gives? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.type www.expedia.com in browser address window 2. 3. Actual Results: I can't access that site, because it sees this as an old version and unsupported Expected Results: Viewed the site
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050919 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2005091922 WFM in trunk and branch. Also in 1.0.6.
This is WFM in 1.5beta1, using the genuine UA string or spoofing as 1.0.6. Some sites might expect to see Mozilla (i.e. the Suite) rahter than Firefox. In which case it would be a TE issue. In any cse, if sites block based on UA, that is their business, and all that can be done is to complain to them.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20050920 Firefox/1.4 ID:2005092009 WFM
