The JavaScript menu at the top of tomshardware.com seems to redraw slower than
the rest of the page causing it to "bounce". It seems to also slow down the
drawing of the rest of the page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to website www.tomshardware.com
2. Scroll the page down, the quicker you scroll the more obvious it is
3.

Actual Results:
Scroll bar "bounces"

Expected Results:
The scroll bar should be draws smoothly with the rest of the page.
what does firefox 1.5b1 do?
Same thing happens in FF 1.5b1, the menu "bounces" ie. redraws significantly
slower than the rest of the page which slows scrolling.
No JS at all. It's a table inside an absolutely positioned DIV inside an
absolutely positioned IFRAME.

-> Core: Layout for further triage; it's probably a dupe, but nothing I could
clearly find.

is this a regression?
I don't think so, but I just started using Camino & Firefox on Mac. I do think
it does it on Windows as well in FF but is a bit faster so not as annoying.
I can't reproduce this with tomshardware.com (the menu just scrolls out of sight). Is this still an issue?
Do you still see this problem using Firefox 3.5? Please update the bug, and close/alter bug if appropriate.

No reply, INCO. Please reopen if you are seeing this in Firefox 3.5.2 or later in Firefox safe mode and a new profile with the latest plugins.
