If clicking on mailto: links, it takes up to 30 seconds until compose window opens

If I click on a mailto: link on a homepage,  it often takes up to 30 seconds
until the compose window opens - although thunderbird is already opened.

I think, that should be made faster. I have this problem in all thunderbird
releases.

Reproducible: Sometimes
It's much faster now, so I change this bug to fixed + worksforme.
