(New windows don't blink, but the original window continues to blink.) This is such a unique occurance that I can't imagine the steps to recreate it... But it definitely happened. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce:

Thanks for the comment, Peter. I understand the consequences of being unable to reproduce this: If a bug happens only once, was there an error? I just thought I'd put it in anyway in case someone else ever had the issue; then we could begin to triangulate.

happened again.. I think it has something to do with getting an error page and then hitting refresh

1. Do you get any errormessage in javascript console when this happens. 2. Can you use -safemode and see if you can still "reproduce" it ?

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME http://www.mozilla.com http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+mode

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
