I have repeatedly been unable to add an all day event to October 2 2005. Sunbird
places the event starting on October 1 and finishing on October 2.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to October 2
2. Create an event
3. Make it "all day"
4. Confirmed
5. Unclick "Private"
6. Select Repeat each year

Actual Results:
The event scheduled for October 2, is placed, starting in October 1.

Expected Results:
Placed the event starting on October 2 in the October 2 date space.

Default setting.

Only possible special configuration is that I have the computer's clock set to
adjust for daylight saving. I am not sure when Daylight saving starts in New
Zealand, however it might be around that time.

At this point it is the only date that I have had difficulty entering data in.
If the switch to DST is about that time, this is probably a duplicate of Bug
281690
What's the version number of the Sunbird you're using? (from Help->About) I
think I remember this problem happening in some previous nightly biulds.

Also, is the event incorrectly placed in all views or just some? When opening
the event Dialog to edit the event, is Oct 1 or Oct 2 displayed as the date?
Does the fact that you made it repeat yearly make a difference in the outcome?

Perhaps this is describing bug 306157?
No response from reporter. We'll go with robin's guess and due against bug 281690
