right-click and choosing properties both on bookmark selection and through the
bookmarks manager doesn't give anything

Is your bookmarks toolbar item hidden? If so please mark this as a dupe of bug
246158 (which was recently fixed).

nope. i can't see properties on any bookmark. 

i just bookmarked this page (Ctrl-D) and i can't see its properties.
Any difference if you test in safe mode?
cased by the 'add bookmark here' extension (which i've probably enabled by using
the nightly tester)
