Had a typo - wanted to type www.spiegel.de, but typed www.spiegel.d and hit
enter. Browser hangs.

Can be reproduced with other incomplete urls, like www.heise.d

Oops, sorry about that. This seems to be an issue in your DNS resolver, or your
network. Even when it can't find an asnwer, you should receive a timeout.

Resolution: --- → WORKSFORME
Tested it again at home and got the error message after a few seconds, as
expected. Maybe something with the DNS/Proxy at work...

Also tried a ping www.spiegel.d and nslookup www.spiegel.d at work and it
provided an error after a few seconds, as expected.

Will try it again with IE on monday.
