Maybe it's because of this: I use mozilla on Linux but redirect it's output to an IRIX box. If I click on an input field (eg. URL location bar or in HTML forms) I have to wait several seconds (about 20) and the whole X server freezes until the cursor appears and X is running normal again. HTML forms need really long to be displayed and scroll slow. (both machines are connected via 100MBit)

We've changed the input field implementation so that it no longer creates native windows, so it would be interesting to see if this bug is fixed. I'll mark fixed for now, please reopen if you still see the problem.

Sorry Kin, I still see this problem. The form I used is from Steve Morse. Added to URL field above. Type, tab, type, tab, type, tab, etc. and you'll see the problem...
