After uninstalling Thuderbird + removoving profile folders + cleaning registry,
the setup wizard fails
French setup : Thunderbird Setup 1.0.6.exe (5,82 Mo - 6 106 058 octets - file
version 3, 12, 0, 0)
Issues following message : 
"Le programme a déctecté que les archives suivantes étaient corrompues:
mail.xpi
Vous devez obtenir une autre copie des fichiers d'installation de Mozilla
Thunderbird pour procéder à son installation"

Unzipped the file with 7-Zip and launched setup.
Same problem occurs.

Other error message displayed when wizard starts :
Une erreur s'est produite au cours de l'installation - Mozilla Thunderbird
courrier électronique: -207 CANT_READ_ARCHIVE

If you can only reproduce this on your computer what makes you think it's a bug
and not an error in your configuration settings of that specific computer?
