Following the most recent update on critcal issues, I lost all passwords in the
password manager. Also when trying to import passwords from Netscape, not all
the passwords import. Only 3 out of 15 codes import.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
All my settings seem to have been kept with the exception of the passwords.
I not only lost all of my save passwords, which were many, but also lost all of my bookmarks also.
I was able to recover both my passwords as well as my favorites by locating the defaults inside C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\o2cg82d0.slt

before you open any files in the folder completly shut down mozilla!!!!!

when you open the profile it needs to be the one that you had the passwords saved in so if you create a profile than you need to open that one instead of the default.
inside the folder you will see a file with a set of numbers in it with a format os .s open the file in notepad and see if it has your passwords if it does select all and copy it into the other .s file that is in the folder. In regards to the bookmarks locate the file labled bookmarks.html.bak and remove the file extension to bookmarks.html. when you have done this restart mozilla and the passwords and bookmarks should be as they were before they dissapeared.
Add an option that auto-adds PASSWORDS and BOOKMARKS to a file in "My Documents", that when clicked-upon will activate SeaMonkey window to load...

There seems to be no-way to copy and paste passwords into Bookmarks manager...

This latest update is running CLEAN, PERFECT, and Snappy FAST...
Almost a year later and it looks like the problem is still there.
Recently started to lose all log in information and then not ask at next login if
I wanted the information remembered. Looks like you guys need to fix the problem or have a bunch of folks leave you service. Any idea when this might be fixed?
There's not really any data to work with here... Upgrades are working fine for the vast majority of people, so whatever might be causing a problem is likely specific to the system, profile, or stored-passwords file. If someone can provide a profile or passwords file that can be used to recreate the problem during an upgrade, please reopen.
