Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7
When I try to open a linked page that is supposed to open in a new window,
nothing happens. When I try to check my security & popup settings under
Tools/Options, Firefox completely freezes & I have to end the task from the Task
List. I just downloaded this version yesterday & have been experiencing the
problem ever since.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. try to click on a link & nothing happens
2. try to open Options to check settings but Firefox crashes
3.
Actual Results:
Frozen screen
Expected Results:
Opened the Options or the window
what plugins do you have installed
sometimes plugins will block a link from opening in a new window no matter what

Everything worked properly immediately prior to downloading the new version.
Example, we have an events website that is listed by date. When you click on an
event title, it opens a small popup window with additional information. Now,
when I click on a title, nothing happens at all.
The only thing that freezes when I choose Tools/Options is Firefox. The rest of
my programs are fine.

1. change to default theme, see if that helps
if not
2. run Firefox in -safemode (close FF , than open via Windows Start
mune->Firefox-safemode) and see if that solves it.
if so , one or more of your extensions need to be uninstalled because they have
become incompatible

I tried safe mode & everything worked but still doesn't work in regular mode. I
only have 3 extensions & the extensions but I cannot even open the list from the
regular mode. All 3 of these extensions worked prior to this new version. I
only have Tabbed Browser Preferences, PDF Download & Sidebar. I suppose, in
order to get my functions back, I must go back to the old 1.0.6 version?
