the screen is now divided - in the upper part every menue/submenue option, which
had to be accessed through a drop-down list is noe displayed as tiny icons
aligned on the left border of the screen; on MouseOver they disappear.
The lower part (you need to scroll down to find out that there is more to be
seen) shows the usual main icons more ore less correctly, but occupies maybe
only maybe a third of the screen area than it used to.

Reproducible: Always

the problem does only occur with the local installation (MSAS Mambo Stand Alone
Server), not with the remote installation (host). It does not occur with IE.
I'm sorry, but your bug report still isn't very clear.

You're using WinXP, FF 1.0.7. and what do you do next? Do you go to a particular
internet site, or is it a web interface to some program you have installed locally?

Please describe clearly and explictly?
Can I add a screenshot ?

click "create new attachement" higher up on this page
that's how it should look like
Now we're getting somewhere.
Is this http://www.mamboserver.com/ a program that you installed on your local
computer and which you're trying to administer through its web interface but
that web page doesn't work well in Firefox?

Why didn't you say so! ;)

Anyways, this either is a rendering problem in Gecko-based browsers, or more
likely, a problem in the HTML/XML code generated by your program. Can you
provide us with the code of a misbehaving page?

The problem did not occur with Firefox 1.0.3. (German), only after I installed
1.0.7
there's a whole bunch of Javascript there that isn't accesible.
That makes finding a reduced test case quite impossible without installing it
self....

You say the problem appeared with 1.0.7?

Can you install FF 1.5 beta 1 to see if the problem is still there? And if so,
can you retrace in which FF 1.0.x version the problem appeared for the first time?
1.0.3 was the previously installed version, and it worked fine.

I will install FF 1.5 beta and test (maybe this weekend).

I first installed Mambo locally and created my website. Then I uploaded the
files (some weeks ago) to the webhost. Meanwhile I installed FF 1.0.7. Now, the
local and the remote files still identical, FF fails to display correctly the
admin panel, while no problems occur when I access the remote files.
Isn't this behavior strange?

Severity: blocker → normal
I have just installed FF 1.5 Beta (Custom installation to USB Memory). The bug
reported to occur with FF 1.0.7 (German) does not occur with FF 1.5. Beta.

--> leaving the bug as resolved, as the current development version already
function correctly
