Refreshing the page seems to change the nature of the scrambling and sometimes the page is not scrambled at all. The page source shows no sign of the scrambling. The page displays correctly in Internet Explorer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Can you reproduce this with the latest nightly trunk build? http://ftp.scarlet.be/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/

Using 1.6a1 I get an error page: "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."

(In reply to comment #2) > Using 1.6a1 I get an error page: > > "The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or > unsupported form of compression. Please contact the website owners to inform > them of this problem." > Confirmed - I'm getting this too with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051030 Firefox/1.6a1 I'm trying to open a page on a secure https connection which opens an HTML report using two frames, the top frame for navigation (next page, previous page etc.) and the second bottom frame for the report in HTML format. It's this second frame that loads with the above message (not garbled text, the above message fills the entire frame with the heading "Oops.". I can view the report (both frames) just fine in IE6 and FF1.5b2. The report is generated using an Actuate eReport server v6sp1 delivered over a SOAP connection to a Tomcat 4.1.27/Apache 1.3.27 server and then via a reverse proxy Apache 1.3.27 server to the browser. I've never seen this problem until today with Deer Park, not sure when this problem appeared in Deer Park, within the last 2 weeks would be my guess. To the best of my knowledge the report content page is not compressed - certainly not by Apache 1.3.27 as mod_gzip doesn't work with Apache mod_ssl, and I don't believe Actuate is compressing the content either as the SOAP messages contains raw HTML.
Starting with Firefox 2 I can't see any problems on this page. Reading the comments above it seems to have undergone a redesign.
