User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Using Firefox 1.0.7 with "Noscript" & "Gmail notifier" extension plus external Gmail notifier from google. Problem: http://gmail.google.com on firefox 1.0.7 Gives non-stop alternate message of the ff: "Transferring data from mail.google.com..." "waiting for mail.google.com..." Gmail used to load ok on firefox 1.0.7, now it wont load unless javascript is disabled. I have not installed any new extension or software. Using "Noscript" so that google.com wont load automatically: i have the option to load only the "Basic HTML with No javascript" of http://gmail.google.com, and it loads ok. Reproducible: Always

Does the problem happen in Safe Mode ( http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode ), or in a new profile without any extensions? If it doesn't, then it's up to the extension author (or authors, if it's only a problem with a combination of extensions) to fix their problem, or to file a bug on exactly what's breaking them.
Removing Extentions: Noscript, Gmail Notifier & Program Google Gmail Notifier seemed to erratically correct the problem. Reinstalling "Gmail Notifier Extention" gave the same problem again, but then, uninstalling said extention (even without 'Noscript'), then rebooting the computer, still won't correct the problem. So I guess it's not 'Gmail Notifier Extension' that's wholly responsible afterall. But I think it triggers... I tried 'clearing' Cookies and Cache of firefox (just a hunch). Reinstall 'Gmail Notifier' and 'Noscript' extentions. Now gmail.google.com reloads OK (at least for now). Still observing if I will get the same problem again.
I have no Gmail Notifier, no NoScript extensions in my firefox 1.5 (spanish) and I only get a blank page every time that I logged on in my Gmail account. With the older version of Firefox I never had problems before.. The only way that I can log into my account is disabling Javacript :( of course it works but that´s not the idea.. having javascript activate it makes easier to work in Gmail acounts. so, I have no clue what else I can do.. I don´t want to use Exploiter. I hope that someone can do something about this bug. greetings.

I have just installed a fresh installation of firefox 1.5.0.1 on my FC4 partition, and it refuses to load Gmail, stopping at the initial screen saying "Loading...". I looked at the Javascript Console and it told me: Error: missing ; before statement Source File: http://mail.google.com/mail/?view=page&name=js&ver=e2b01598679b1058 Line: 1981, Column: 171 Source Code: ;I.Fm=function(a){if(!this.oh){this.Ha()}if(I.T[a]){if(I.T[a].ready==-1){I.T[a].ready=0;for(var b=0;b<I.T[a].length;b++){I.T[a][b].src=I.T[a][b].imgpath}}var c="<img src="'+I.T[a][0].src+'" id=emoticon"+I.Z.length+' onload="if(top.js && top.js._BZ_RotaSmi I imagine that the Javascript being sent to gmail consumers has been passed through a script to remove as much nonessential space as possible, among other things, so I have no way of debugging to see if it's their code or not.
