User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7

After entering my email and password in gmail.google.com, it takes some time for
authentication. If I switch to another tab during this time, I will get the
message "Redirection limit exceeded for this URL". It looks as if mozilla is
trapped in a vicious cycle of redirections. I have to stay on the same tab until
the page is downloaded. Then there will be no problem.
P.S. Didn't have the same problem with 1.0.5 and 1.0.6. I think this is new in 1.0.7

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.type gmail.google.com in address bar
2.enter a valid user name and password
3.switch to another tab and wait for the message

Actual Results:
The error message "redirection limit exceeded for this url" appeared

Expected Results:
continued with downloading the page I requested
