User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 firefox refuses to load anything after i have loaded the extentions dialog, and gone to the about window of "reporter 1.8b4". i then close that dialog and i am returned to firefox's main window. at that time none of my bookmarks can be clicked on, and clicking the home button also has no use. i also tried typing an address directly into the address bar, and it still refused to do anything. The main window area (the part where websites are usually shown) is grey, and no error warning is displayed. i checked and it was not a problem with the internet connection or the firewall. i am using mozilla firefox 1.5 beta 1 Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click tools, then extentions. 2. Right-click on "reporter 1.8b4", and click About Reporter... 3. close this window and the extentions window and return to an unusable firefox. Actual Results: I was able to return to the main firefox window but it would not load anything, either on the internet or from my harddrive. Expected Results: firefox should have returned and allowed itself to continue to be used, rather than just displaying a pure gray webpage I was using the default theme that comes with firefox 1.5 beta 1.
Does it do this with any other extension about dialogs?

(In reply to comment #1) > Does it do this with any other extension about dialogs? no, it only did it after opening that dialog. i have tried opening the other about dialogs and firefox works fine after doing so. i also tried to do it again but it did not reproduce the problem.
I wasn't able to reproduce this... it was probably just a coincidence that it happened while you were viewing the about dialog. Chances are this will get resolved WFM.
resolving WFM - if you can find a reliable way to reproduce please reopen or open a new bug.
