I have been using Firefox for over a year until I had to do a complete system
restore on my Windows XP-Service pack 2. After the restore, when I try to start
Firefox all I get is the following error message:
Microsoft Visual C++RUNTIME LIBRARY
RUNTIME ERROR!
Program: C:\Program files\Mozille Firefox\firefox.exe

This program has requested the Runtimeto terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on program start icon
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The error come up

Expected Results:
Should have opened so I could access the Internet

May not be a bug, but there is something that is causing my computer from
running Firefox.
Are you sure you are using an official build and not a customised/optimised one ?
System restore probably hasnt restored all the parts of firefox. Reinstalling
firefox should correct the problem.
Reporter, if a reinstall didn't resolve this then please reopen.
